For Jérémy, working at Ÿnsect is the perfect opportunity to combine his passion with his work. Having been obsessed with insects for years, he already knew for a long time that he wanted to work in this innovative sector. After completing a BCPST preparatory class and a bachelor’s degree, he joined a Master’s program in Physiology and Animal Genetics at AgroParisTech. As a child, he dreamed of being a veterinarian, but now he describes himself as the insect vet! It is not by chance that Jérémy found Ynsect. While studying, he joined the R&D team for a first internship. It was this latter internship that sealed his desire to become an entomologist.
2 years later and freshly graduated, Jérémy joined Ynsect again, but this time as a Breeding Specialist. He now works at the Amiens site and has followed the farm’s construction as well as its recent commissioning. Besides, he is at the root of the performance indicators for the growth and reproduction part of the farm. In other words, just like a car dashboard, he thought and developed several indicators to ensure the breeding optimization and the well-being of our larvae. If he states that patience, reflection and analytical capacity are the three most important qualities in his daily life, this major project will undoubtedly have confirmed this.
On a daily basis, Jérémy works closely with the different departments and our different sites. Thanks to them, he can then contribute to making our Amiens farm a real success, constantly striving for improvement. Moreover, among the values of the group, he identifies most with adaptability, essential for those who want to participate in the creation of a project that he describes as innovative and ambitious.
