As the granddaughter of farmers, Emma became aware as a teenager of the need to find sustainable solutions to address global warming. She was eager to join a project that would match her convictions and discovered Ynsect while looking for an apprenticeship to complete her second year of a Master’s degree in Intercultural Management. Enthralled by the company’s mission, she joined Ynsect as a Communication intern. After a year, Emma had the opportunity to stay with the team and became Communication Project Manager.
Within the Communication team, Emma wears many hats. All rounder, she supports her colleagues in both internal and external projects: from participating in press relations to events and supervising social medias or the website, she never gets bored with the wide range of subjects. Among the company’s values, Emma doesn’t waver: it’s adaptability that she identifies with the most. Not surprising for such a 360° position.
According to her, the most important qualities to do her job are versatility, autonomy and above all, sociability. In fact, all the projects she works on involve travelling, meeting people, discussing different subjects, etc. It is this aspect of her work that she likes the most because it allows her to always learn and to constantly try to improve.
